"A lot of people talk about doing it (business) but few try, get the support through the NEIS programme and go for it,” said Dean
“Having a plan and some structure is the key to a successful business. You can build on a good business foundation,” Eamon said.
“I learned the fundamentals of business, how to register a business and how to put together a business plan, which I had never done before. It gave me a running track to follow.”
“We were planning for some time, and for me I never thought I could take this jump. I had always worked for someone, but I liked the idea of running my own business, and knowing I would have the support from the Business Foundations encouraged me to give it a go,” Mark said.
“My advice to anyone wanting to start up their own business is to call the Business Foundations. There is so much to learn in business, and they are more than happy to teach you,” said Matthew.
“If someone hasn’t been in business, they would be mad not to do the Business Foundations programme, they need to go down that road and develop a business plan"
