Business Foundations offers a range of free and subsidised services for people starting out in business to existing business owners. It offers this assistance and support to new and existing businesses through the following services:
- Free business assistance
- Referral to specialist advisors (such as accountants and lawyers)
- NEIS training for eligible Perth clients north and south of the river
- Assistance through the maze of government departments and regulations
- Business workshops
- Business information
- Problem solving
The Business Foundations business incubator is a unique facility in the historic Old Fremantle Prison, where small businesses can rent office space and seek on-site assistance during the difficult first few years of business operation.
Tenants in the incubator have access to shared facilities such as training rooms, a photocopier, fax machine, secretarial services and business advice.
